When those professionals trained in psychological counseling also share our faith in God and commitment to Biblical teachings, there is a common ground established for mutual understanding and insight. Elizabeth functions as our Staff Counselor at Valley Christian Center. She holds a Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University, with a specialization in Children in Schools and teens in crisis. She has experience working with children, youth, and women. Elizabeth began counseling in 2002 and she seeks to integrate her passion for those looking to find freedom from personal bondage with sound therapeutic techniques and faith-based support. Elizabeth not only does one on one counseling, but she also leads groups with a focus on teen issues. The church subsidizes her counseling fees which allows her to provide counseling support at very reasonable rates. Elizabeth is also happy to refer you to counselors in our area if she is unable to support your needs.
