Differing Gifts... Differing Offerings

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.” (1 Corinthians 12:4-8, 11)
The believers at Valley Christian Center in Dublin, California are people of differing gifts. From these differing gifts, they have faithfully given to Him differing offerings. While some have given sacrificially in a financial way, others have offered materials... and still others who have construction skills and have come and worked on the Lord’s projects here at Agua Viva. Over the years the list of projects on which they have labored physically and to which they have given financially include such diverse areas as:
- Three pastor’s houses
- Two churches
- Two missionary houses
- Mount Zion dormitory
- Quads 1 through 5
- Three solar projects
- The camp cafeteria
- Brian Green memorial dormitory
The blessings they have provided through their skill and effort have long-lasting effects on Agua Viva Ministries. The current work on the MTI Seminary Office and Classroom Building shown in the adjacent pictures holds out great promise for future fruitfulness.
