:: Chef of the week
Description: This volunteer will be responsible to plan, prepare and serve the dinner for a young adult small group.  Serving Time: One Night

:: Host Home
Description: This volunteer will open their home to host a small group of Young Adults.  Serving Time: Weekly

:: Small Group Facilitator
Description: This volunteer will help facilitate conversation in a small group format on Sunday mornings or during a mid-week small group.  Serving Time: Weekly

:: Visitor Follow-up Team
Description: This volunteer will help follow up with the young adults that are new to this ministry.  This may consist of sending a card, making a phone call or sending an email to make the visitor feel welcomed and invited to come back.  Serving Time: Weekly or Bi-Weekly

:: New Believers Mentoring Team
Description: This volunteer will help mentor new young adult believer one on one and will lead them through the foundations of our faith.  Serving Time: Weekly for seven weeks

:: Urban Fest Team
Description: This volunteer will help in this outreach to the city of Oakland (approximately 5,000 people in attendance).  By partnering with the School of Urban Missions, this volunteer can help in one of the following areas: setup, tear down, running a game or help with security.  Serving Time: Once a year

:: Letters of Love
Description: Letters of Love is a ministry of encouragement.  Volunteers send personalized cards to church members and friends in need--from get well cards to thank you notes to congratulatory messages.  To arrange a donation of cards and supplies, or to get more information on this ministry, contact vcclettersoflove@yahoo.com.  Serving Time: Bi-Weekly
