Admissions may be based upon, but not limited to, the mental, spiritual, physical and academic capabilities of the students as determined by interviews, entrance tests, current transcripts, recommendations and any available standardized testing results. Proof of physical examination and immunizations and the family’s agreement to support Valley Christian Schools’ Mission Statement and educational philosophy as appropriate to the grade level are also required. The student enrollment will be limited to the amount of adequate, available facilities.
Admission to Valley Christian Schools is considered to be a privilege, and is contingent upon the following admissions procedures and requirements. The Administration reserves the right to dismiss or refuse admission to anyone unwilling to comply with the school’s regulations or who is unable to achieve the school’s level of academic standards.
Parental Support and Cooperation
It is our expectation that parents and students will support and cooperate with the teaching and administrative staff of our schools. Our schools are structured and administered to achieve the stated goals of the mission statement of the schools. If a student and/or parent is not in agreement with our goals, and find themselves in substantial agreement with the administration or teaching staff, we would recommend that they seek a different environment to achieve the goals that are important to them. If in our estimation, it is apparent that a parent and/or student is in substantial disagreement with the administration of Valley Christian Schools, we will require them to remove their student(s) from our schools and we for our part will refund the unused tuition promptly and cooperate fully in the transfer of the student to the school of choice as designated by the parent.
Admission Testing
All incoming Elementary student applicants will be tested prior to acceptance. The testing is an aid in determining eligibility of enrollment and grade placement.
Discrimination Policy
Valley Christian Schools are interdenominational, and we welcome and admit eligible students of any race, color or national origin who desire a quality Christian education.
Regular Worship Encouraged
The admissions process shall include encouragement to both the students and their parents to regularly attend regular worship services at a congregation of their choice.
Admission After the Start of School
If space is available, careful consideration will be given to interested candidates who would like to enroll after the start of the school year. Interested candidates must be in good standing at their current school. Candidates must demonstrate both an academic ability to enter classes during the school term and a discipline record acceptable to the admissions committee.
Registration Fees
Registration fees are non-refundable. However, if a student does not qualify for enrollment, a portion of this fee may be refunded.
