Tuition for the fifth child and more will be paid at the fourth child rate of the school attended. Discounts will be given between Valley Christian Elementary School, Valley Christian Junior High School, and Valley Christian Senior High School, but not between Valley Christian Preschool and grades Kindergarten through 12. The multiple child discounts shall apply only to the children of a single parent or to the children of a couple who are a man and woman and are legally married to each other. Discounts will not apply to children from different households. Tuition is based on the oldest enrolled child being the “first child” and the fourth child being the youngest.
Tuition is based on a school year amount. Families are offered two options to pay tuition:
- Full payment due by June 1, or
- 11 monthly payments beginning in June using the FACTS tuition management program. (With the second option, parents can choose to pay beginning June 5 through April 5 or May 20 through March 20)
A $30.00 fee will be charged for late payments as well as returned checks. Any other fees such as childcare, etc. will be billed separately by the VCC accounting department through FACTS. You may choose to set up a separate “custodial” bank account in your child’s name in which tuition payments can be processed. You may also pay your tuition through FACTS with either your American Express, Master Card or Discover Card. There will be a convenience fee for this service.
Parents will receive an invoice from FACTS. The parent is responsible to go online and sign up for the FACTS payment plan. All necessary information will be on the FACTS invoice. A $30.00 late fee will be charged for failure to sign up for FACTS within 30 days of the invoice date.
If a decision is made to withdraw the student after June 1st the entire registration fee and tuition installments due to date are non-refundable.
If you have any questions about payments, please call the Valley Christian Center accounting office at (925) 560-6218.
Any tuition account that is more than 45 days delinquent may result in the suspension of the student/students from VCES until the account is brought current, unless special arrangements have been made through the VCC Executive Administrator. Report cards may be withheld until the account is brought current. VCES reserves the right to refuse continued enrollment to any student whose tuition account is not current.
A worksheet will calculate the total due for the rest of the school year. The parent will be given a FACTS enrollment agreement. The final payment can be no later than April 5.
