At Valley Christian Elementary School, we welcome people from all backgrounds who desire a quality Christian education. We proudly admit eligible students of any race, color, and national or ethnic group. You are truly welcome here! We want to serve you and your family in any way that we can. As each student and family are important to us, we would like to suggest that you review the following to become better acquainted with our enrollment process.
Students applying to Valley Christian Elementary School for kindergarten and first grade will be given a developmental test that will determine their eligibility for our program. This evaluation gives us an indication of the maturational development of each child for proper placement into kindergarten or first grade.
Students applying to Valley Christian Elementary School for second through sixth grades will be tested for math and reading capabilities to determine their eligibility for admission and to ensure proper placement. An applicant, who tests at more than one grade below their age level, as averaged on their reading and math tests, will not be admitted unless there are extenuating circumstances as determined by the Administrator.

A Special Note
Students entering kindergarten must be at least five years old on or before September 1. Students entering first grade must be at least six years old on or before September 1. A certified copy of the student’s birth certificate must accompany all kindergarten applications.
