Family Events

There are several opportunities throughout the school year for our families to be involved with the school and making friends.

VCS School Auction

:: Auction –
We are now preparing for the 2010 Children of Faith Auction. Online bidding will begin on May 10 and will go through May 26. Currently we are looking for creative donations. All donations are due by April 26. Nancy Ball is the coordinator for this year's auction. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact her at nmcball@comcast.net. Thank you for helping to make this year's auction a success.

This is a great opportunity to get out and meet other families along with helping the school raise funds. The funds raised at the auction helps VCES continue to provide an excellent Christian based education for current and future students.

:: Back to School Coffee -
An informal, get acquainted coffee is held on the first day of school from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the multi-use room. All parents are invited. This is a special time to renew old friendships and extend welcome hands to the new families.

:: PTF BBQ –
Are you looking for the opportunity to have some “down-home” cooking and time to kick up your heels while socializing with just about the nicest people in the Valley? Well the annual PTF BBQ is the place to be.

:: Pasta Dinner Family Night –
It's "Family Night Out" for the Valley Christian Elementary School community. Enjoy an authentic Italian dinner with fresh ingredients; home style sauces, salads, garlic bread and sweet endings of Tiramisu and Gelato...now, that's Italian! The entire family will enjoy a fun time of fellowship, food, and games.

:: Arts, Crafts & Gifts Fair –
Just in time for your holiday shopping, an event the entire family will NOT want to miss. Browse the gallery of creative and fine art featuring independent artisans and their work. We'll also showcase original artwork from our students on canvases and cards. To compliment this cultural event refreshments and live music will surely make this a special evening.
