Weekly Chapel

Chapel

Chapel is held every Friday that school is in session in the sanctuary. Kindergarten through third grade chapel services are at 9:00 a.m. Grades four through six attend services at 9:50 a.m. Parents and guests are invited to attend our chapel services.

The chapel theme for the 2008-09 school year is "Follow Me". The yearly verse is John 10:27, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."

Quarter 1 Memory Passage

"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one." John 10:27-30

Quarter 2 Memory Passage

"I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe." Eph. 1:16-19

Parents, please note: The memorization of the quarterly chapel passage is not a requirement; however, student participation is strongly encouraged. Those students who choose to memorize the passage will be recognized during a chapel service and will receive a certificate of accomplishment.
