Impact Your Community

Mission
As part of our commitment to take our faith into the world, Valley Christian Junior High and High Schools require Community Service of each and every student (Matthew 28:16-20).

Jesus said that his disciples must learn to be the servants of all (Mark 9:35). The Community Service component of our curriculum serves to affirm the Christian World View and provide a practical expression of God's love for mankind.

Our Purpose
The Valley Christian Jr. High and High School Bible Department seeks to support  The Valley Christian High School Mission Statement by providing experiences for students that:

  • Promote the development of the Christian world view as it impacts lifestyles, decision making, personal integrity, and social responsibility.
  • Develop a sense of responsibility to mankind which entails selfless service as a result of a deep love and appreciation for God the Father.
  • Provide structure and encouragement that allows the student to explore ways of displaying Christian commitment and virtue through social, civic, athletic, artistic, and scholastic organizations which are non-profit and meet the criteria set forth in the Community Service Project Guidelines.
