Student Spiritual Life is a top priority on the Junior and Senior High campuses. Daily scripture and encouragement is brought to the student body by the class Chaplains at the beginning of every morning, followed by a 10 minute devotional and prayer time lead by the homeroom teacher.
Students' daily schedules include a course in Bible at all grade levels. Since Bible courses are part of the school curriculum, students are graded on homework, assignments, projects and Bible memory verses.
Weekly chapel services and optional lunch-time Bible studies allow students to grow as a Christian Community. Missions trips, participation in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine, See You at the Pole, and community service projects all offer opportunities for the students to practice serving others as they learn more about following their Lord.
Each year, one week is especially devoted to the spiritual growth of the student body through Spiritual Emphasis Week. Local and national guest speakers lead a series of chapels emphasizing personal develpoment and practice of faith and values.
Faculty and staff also begin every day in prayer groups and/or small group devotions. There are several optional lunch-hour Bible studies available as well as opportunities to take, for credit, ACSI approved Bible classes.
The Campus Pastor speaks in chapel monthly and the school strongly supports the youth ministries of the church.
