Mrs. Gena joined Valley Christian Preschool in 2006 and is exicited to be part of the Valley Christian community. She has a B.A. degree from CSU Chico. She's earned her Assistant Teacher permit and is currently working toward her Associate Teacher permit. She and her husband have two daughters, and have lived in the Tri-Valley for 12 years.

Mrs. Chiu has been teaching at Valley Christian Preschool since 1999. She has a B.A. in Child Development and a M.A. in Christian Education. She enjoys working with preschool children and especially loves to sing, read Bible stories, and getting messy with art. Mrs. Chiu and her husband have three girls who attend Valley Christian schools. In her free time she enjoys shopping and a good movie.

Mrs. Wright

Mrs. Wright has been part of the preschool since 2003. She and her husband Ray have two children. Maureen has a B.A. in Child Development from San Jose State. She enjoys scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends, and volleyball.

Marlis Baker
Pre-K Assistant

Mrs. Baker joined the Valley Christian Preschool staff in August of 2008 and has been teaching since 2001. She is married and has two sons. Her youngest attends Valley Christian High School. In her spare time she loves reading, crafts, photography and spending time with her family.

Julia Lim
Pre-K Assistant

Julia has been with Valley Christian Preschool since the fall of 2006. She can speak and write both in English and Chinese. She received her B.A. in Child Development at Mills College. Prior to joining the Valley Christian staff, Julia taught at a Christian school in San Francisco. She and her husband have three lovely daughters and have relocated from the San Francisco area.

Laura Onstead-Cortez
Pre-K Assistant

Miss Laura joined the preschool staff in the fall of 2007. She worked in the administration office and classrooms for several years at a Christian school in Livermore before joining VCP. She holds a BA from Montclair University. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Discovery Bay where they enjoy boating and jet skiing. Laura feels so blessed to be working at Valley Christian Preschool with Mrs. Jody and such loving children.

Diana Borromeo

Miss Dianna has been a Teacher's Assistant at Valley Christian Preschool since 2002. She loves working with preschool children. She has two children of her own who attend school at Valley Christian. She spends her weekends enjoying her friends and family.
